Joe Lombardo

Artist's Resume and Statement

Joe Lombardo is an Adjunct Professor of drawing at the Columbus College of Art and Design. He will be teaching two workshops at the Glen Arbor Art Association in Michigan - Introduction to Painting and Plein Air.

“At dusk the landscape transforms with light, color, and contrast. The power grid fulfills our nightly needs illuminating homes and architecture. Street lights break mysterious darkness as if to ask "who goes there?" and homes glow with warm, welcoming interior light. We too often accept the appearance of our surroundings while ignoring the underlying infrastructure and the energy dependent lifestyle powering it.”
